ENGLAND WIN 3-1 DESPITE EGYPT HAVING A PHAROAH GO!

England had a decisive win against Egypt last night in the run up to the 2010 World Cup here in South Africa. Egypt had a Pharoah go but thanks to a brace of goals from Peter Crouch, England concluded the match 3 - 1 after a rather dodgy start! This will do Englands confidence the world of good after all the shananegins of the previous few weeks. Surely Crouch must now be one of the key players to fly out here for the 2010 Football World Cup. Lets hope so and well done England for your victory last night! More hot news from a very hot Cape Town!

100 DAYS UNTIL 2010 WORLD CUP FOOTBALL KICK OFF!

Its coming around pretty quicky and now only 100 days until the kick off of the 2010 Football World Cup! The nice host cities are all on track and in a state of readiness for the games to commence. In Cape Town the Green Point Stadium is completed. Jacob Zuma has called the magnificent stadium, Cape Towns third landmark after Table Mountain and Robben Island. It is a fantastic looking work of architecture and I'm sure will draw many admiring glances from visitors to the mother city. 100 days and counting, more hot news from a very hot Cape Town!
